Terms of use

The rules for using Pulso, in plain words, and how the subscription works.

Version 1.0 · November 6, 2026 · The Spanish version is the original.

In short

  • Pulso is a tool to log and organize your finances. It is not a bank and does not give financial advice.
  • You get 7 days free. Then USD 0.99 a month or USD 9.90 a year, charged by Apple or Google.
  • The subscription renews automatically and you can cancel it anytime from the store.
  • If you stop paying, nothing is deleted: you can still view and export everything.
  • Your data is yours and lives on your phone. Keep backups.

1. This agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Zuhuan Software S.A.S. (Ecuadorian tax ID, RUC, in process), the Ecuadorian company that makes Pulso (“we”). By downloading or using Pulso you accept them. If you download it from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement also applies (if these terms conflict with it, Apple's prevails as far as the App Store is concerned). If you download it from Google Play, Google Play's rules also apply.

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

2. What Pulso is and isn't

3. The subscription

4. Without an active subscription

After the free trial, or if your subscription ends, Pulso switches to view-only mode: you can open the app, look at your data and reports and export them, but you can't log new transactions. Nothing is deleted. If you subscribe again, you pick up where you left off.

5. Your data and your backups

What you log is yours. It is stored on your phone and, if you turn on backup, in your own cloud. Since we never receive your data, we can't recover it if you lose your phone without a backup: keep backup turned on or save copies from time to time.

6. Proper use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pulso on your phones. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the app, or try to take it apart to extract its code, except as the law allows. Pulso, its name, logo and design belong to Zuhuan Software S.A.S.

7. Warranty and liability

We work to make Pulso run well and calculate accurately, and we fix the errors we find. Even so, the app is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from decisions made with the app's information, from incorrectly entered data or from losing data without a backup, and our total liability does not exceed what you paid for Pulso in the last 12 months. None of this limits the rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country.

8. Changes to the app and these terms

Pulso will change with new versions. If we change these terms in an important way, we will publish the new version here with its date and mention it in the update notes. If you keep using Pulso afterwards, you accept the new version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ecuador, without taking away the protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
